Still quite vibrant, rich on the palate with complex aromatics. No new wood was utilized to try and capture the true terrior of the Saddle Rock AVA. Cassis, cedar, earthy currant, and spices rise from the glass. A wonderful core of dark cherry, plum, and Spanish lavender all meld together to give this wine a long and complex finish. Just starting to hit its drinking window but could be cellared for another 5 years.
